| Platform: PC, PS4, XBO |
| Release Date: December 5, 2017 |

Having given players the chance to ski, snowboard, paraglide, and wingsuit around the massive open worlds of the Alps and Alaska, Steep is planning a trip to new locations to take on new challenges in honor of the Pyeongchang 2018 Olympic Winter Games.
In partnership with the International Olympic Committee, Steep Road to the Olympics will let players loose in South Korea and Japan to participate in Olympic events and explore gorgeous new environments. Road to the Olympics will release on December 5 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Additional information on bundled versions of the game will be coming soon.
It wouldn’t be the Olympics without official Olympic events, so the expansion will include Downhill, Slopestyle, Halfpipe, Giant Slalom, Super G, and Big Air. There will also be some unique challenges to keep things fresh as you choose a country to represent and test your skills against players around the world.
And for those thirsty for the legendary powder of Japan, there will be plenty of space to find your own lines, set challenges for your friends, record your highlights, and share them with the Steep community.

E3 2017 is less than two weeks away, and the buzz for the show is building to a crescendo. Ubisoft is busy preparing to help welcome the 15,000 fans who snapped up tickets to this year’s event – a first for the show – and the millions who will be watching and following online. Teams are putting the finishing touches on the demonstrations and trailers for this year’s games lineup, which promises to be one of the company’s biggest and boldest in years.
In an official statement, CEO and co-founder Yves Guillemot said, “E3 is truly a moment of excitement and pride, not just for Ubisoft but for our entire industry. We’re looking forward to sharing our unique take on creating game worlds and our action-packed line-up with players, and to seeing what our fellow developers are working on.”
Ubisoft kicks things off Monday, June 12, at 1PM Pacific Time, with the Ubisoft E3 2017 Conference, live from the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. The audience will be treated to a look at the latest from the next Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry 5, the next Just Dance, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, The Crew 2, and many more. For those who can’t attend in person, the event will be broadcast live and on-demand at Ubisoft.com, Ubisoft’s YouTube channel, and Ubisoft’s Twitch channel.
Guillemot went on to say, “These great games are the result of the collective efforts of our talented teams from around the world, partnerships with some of the biggest names in entertainment, and contributions and feedback from the players themselves. That’s why we can’t wait for the thousands of fans attending this year’s E3, and the millions more watching from home, to discover what we have in store.”
The doors to the E3 show floor open at noon Pacific Time on Tuesday, June 13, and Ubisoft’s booth – located in the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center – is being built to handle the additional traffic from 15,000 excited fans. Visitors will be treated to live entertainment throughout the week and will be eligible to win special, in-game content. Also, the Ubi Workshop will be selling apparel, accessories and collectibles from their latest collections.
JUNE 12, 2017: STEEP EXTREME PACK ARRIVES JUNE 27TH
It’s time to gather your friends and hit the slopes once more for three new sporting events releasing as a part of Steep’s Extreme Pack DLC on June 27th. Think you can maneuver through the air at breakneck speeds amongst the mountains? You’ll want to head right for the Rocket Wingsuit events and see if your reflexes are up to the challenge.
Maybe you prefer a more leisurely glide across the slopes with an occasional burst of speed to vary things up? Speed Skiing will give you the opportunity to take in the sights as you swiftly glide from area to area before touching down with your skis to gain some speed and show off your skills. Finally, Base Jump will give all thrill seekers a chance to jump from the top of the mountain and enjoy a ripping ride down the cliffside before pulling your ‘chute and safely touching down.
